Shopping mall

Väla Centrum, Helsingborg

How do people want to shop in the future, and how can a modern shopping mall be part of that experience?

Väla built an entire room focusing on this concept – and a Speakin was used to collect people’s views. By engaging customers in this process, Väla accommodate their needs and make sure they visit the mall again.

SPORTS EVENT

Nordea Open, Båstad

Taking the temperature at the women’s and men’s tennis tournaments.

How can the event be improved and attract more visitors? How can we make more people interested in tennis for recreation and entertainment? Visitors’ experiences and perspectives were collected using both Speakin and on-site interviews.

Exhibition

H22 City Expo, Helsingborg

In the summer of 2022, Helsingborg hosted a city expo called H22, focusing on building a city of the future. This work will then continue towards the city’s vision for 2035.

As part of the exhibition, the city installed a “Helsingborg Room” dedicated to showcasing novel ideas and development plans. Helsingborg want citizens and visitors to be actively involved in this process and a Speakin is set up in the Helsingborg Room to engage people, collect their opinions, and contribute to the democratization of this project.

Shopping mall

Nova Lund, Lund

Collecting consumer feedback while they’re in the middle of their shopping experience.

What do customers like and dislike about the mall and the range of stores, eateries and things to do? Find out about critical fixes as soon as possible – such as a dirty bathroom or glass in the parking lot. Rely less on surveys, and stop entirely with cumbersome focus group interviews.

Exhibition

Stockholm Stad, Stockholm

What should the future of Hagastaden look like? How do people want to live and work in this neighborhood?

In a rapidly changing world, these questions are important to track and understand, and the best way to do this is to engage real citizens. This is true democracy.

Hagastaden set up an exhibition addressing what this part of Stockholm should be like in 2049, and a Speakin was used to collect visitors’ opinions. QR codes were placed in various locations around town which led to a digital version of Speakin, allowing both spoken and written views.

Effortless for you and your audience

Speakin is a voice activated, anonymous feedback collector. The machine collects comments, opinions, ideas, and feedback and transforms them into brand building action points.

You simply walk up to the machine and activate it by saying ”Hi Speakin” or a customized command for your brand. Once the machine is activated, you can share thoughts and opinions about your experience, regardless of the language you speak.

Kim Johansson

A word from our Speakin lead

Kim Johansson is the UX designer and development lead for Speakin, and she is involved in everything from visual design to R&D. She works together with Parlametric’s software development team to continuously improve the user experience of Speakin. Kim has a M.Sc. degree in Cognitive Science from Lund University in Sweden and has a special interest in cognitive linguistics, artificial intelligence and interaction design.

What’s the best part about your job?

“I love that I get to be creative every day and that there is much variation. A lot has changed since I started, including that I have even more wonderful coworkers! We also have bigger clients and more exciting collaborations, which means there is more room for innovation. I see us getting more international clients and offices opening in more locations around the world. I think our clients really appreciate the level of service we provide and how we tailor our offer to meet their needs. I think that as we grow, we will want to develop our service design even more”
